
The Jammu and Kashmir government has put a request to Britain to remove the negative travel advisory which was issued against visiting Jammu and Kashmir.
State tourism minister Jora confirmed the British officials that Germany has already removed its travel advisory against Jammu and Kashmir following which a there has been splurge for foreign tourists in the state.
Jora further claims that lifting of the negative travel advisory by Britain will encourage tourists from countries like Australia, New Zealand and Canada to visit Kashmir.
Lately, a team of senior tourism officers along with representatives of tour and travel trade, Shikara Wallas and House Boat owners visited Malaysia to propagate state's rich tourism treasure. Large number of pilgrims travels to Vaishno Devi and go for amarnath yatras.
